Zwei Vorfälle mit E‑Scootern in Schwerin:
Flucht in den Lankower See und schwerer Verkehrsunfall

In Schwerin endete eine E-Scooter-Flucht mit einem Sprung in den Lankower See. Am Abend wurde ein anderer Fahrer bei einem Unfall schwer verletzt.

In Schw­erin kam es inner­halb weniger Stun­den zu zwei Vor­fällen im Zusam­men­hang mit E‑Scootern. In der Nacht von Dien­stag auf Mittwoch ver­suchte ein Mann, sich ein­er Polizeikon­trolle durch Flucht und einen Sprung in den Lankow­er See zu entziehen. Am Mittwochabend wurde ein E‑S­coot­er-Fahrer bei einem Verkehrsun­fall schw­er ver­let­zt.

Flucht vor Kontrolle endet im Lankower See

Während ein­er nächtlichen Streifen­fahrt bemerk­ten Polizeibeamte in der Lübeck­er Straße einen E‑Scooter mit einem Anhänger. Auf­grund dieser unzuläs­si­gen Fahrzeugkom­bi­na­tion sollte der Fahrer kon­trol­liert wer­den. Der Mann mis­sachtete jedoch die Anhal­teze­ichen und flüchtete. Nach ein­er kurzen Ver­fol­gung über eine Seit­en­straße und ein See­grund­stück gelangte er in eine Sack­gasse. Dort sprang er in den Lankow­er See, durch­schwamm ihn teil­weise und wurde am anderen Ufer von ein­er weit­eren Streifen­wa­genbe­satzung in Emp­fang genom­men.

Die Beamten ver­sorgten den stark unterkühlten Mann mit ein­er Ret­tungs­decke. Eine medi­zinis­che Unter­suchung ergab keine Hin­weise auf eine Beein­träch­ti­gung durch Alko­hol oder Dro­gen. Auch weit­ere Straftat­en kon­nten nicht fest­gestellt wer­den. Die uner­laubte Fahrzeugkom­bi­na­tion wurde ord­nungsrechtlich geah­n­det. Zudem erwartet den Mann ein Bußgeld wegen der Mis­sach­tung polizeilich­er Anweisun­gen.

Schwerer Unfall auf dem Großen Dreesch

Am Abend des­sel­ben Tages kam es zu einem schw­eren Verkehrsun­fall in der Anne-Frank-Straße. Ein E‑S­coot­er-Fahrer fuhr nach ersten Erken­nt­nis­sen vom Gehweg auf die Fahrbahn und wurde dort von einem PKW erfasst. Der Aut­o­fahrer kon­nte den Zusam­men­stoß nicht mehr ver­hin­dern.

Der E‑S­coot­er-Fahrer erlitt schwere Kopfver­let­zun­gen sowie eine Schul­ter­frak­tur und wurde im Kranken­haus behan­delt. Das Krim­i­nalkom­mis­sari­at Schw­erin hat die Ermit­tlun­gen zum Unfall­her­gang über­nom­men.

Polizei bittet um Zeugenhinweise

Zur Aufk­lärung des Unfalls sucht die Polizei nach Zeu­gen. Per­so­n­en, die den Vor­fall am Mittwochabend gegen 20:00 Uhr in der Anne-Frank-Straße beobachtet haben, wer­den gebeten, sich unter der Tele­fon­num­mer 0385 5180–2224 zu melden.
